Established along the tracks of a former railway, this bike trail starts just a few blocks northwest of downtown Mansfield.

Getting to the Danville trailhead from downtown Mansfield takes approximately 45 minutes, driving 30 miles southeast along Possum Run Drive.

 

As you bike along Mohican Valley Trail, you will pass by plenty of scenic spots with excellent views of the Mohican River, as well as expansive open fields and wooden areas. 3. Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail

Passing through the heart of the Ohio & Erie Canalway, the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail runs approximately 100 miles and is one of the most popular paths among bikers from all over Ohio. Although the nearest trailhead is located in the town of New Philadelphia, you can also join the path near Massillon, approximately 55 miles east of the Mansfield city center.
